I need help on a potential baby name and need some outside opinions. Can anyone help?

I'm thinking of Ivory for the first and Rose for the second. None of my family is to fond of it but I think its beautiful. Can ya'll give me some idea if its good or not?

It's a beautiful name. Has a good flow, lovely sound. I say stick with it! Good luck,.
Reply:I think --- that if it is YOUR baby - you should name the child whatever you see fit.

Whatever someone else likes or does not like should NOT matter.

If your child wants to change his or her name - they can as they get older.

As to whether YOU will like it in 10 years...

Here's a test:

Go out to your back porch area - or front porch - and YELL the name 10 times - Like you're trying to get your child to come home.

If you can still stand the name - after doing that - then - heck - it's a good fit.

*grin*

No - seriously - try saying it like you would when you're telling a child they can't do something:

"NO - Ivory Rose - I told you NO!"

"Ivory Rose get over here right this instant!"

Etc.

etc.

If you can handle doing it with a straight face - then why the heck not?

Hmm?

Reply:I like Ivory Rose but I like Ivy Rose better just my opinion
Reply:Ivory Rose isn't too awful bad together but I don't care for them separately.
Reply:I agree with the person saying Ivy Rose...But it is your baby. Would you like your child to have that name? If so, then name her that!
Reply:Rose is beautiful for a middle name but Ivory has got to go!!
Reply:rose is pretty sounds old ladyish .
