What is the most HORRIBLE new baby name you have ever seen?

In my case, I think "Teegan" (for a girl) takes the cake.

Reply:Yeah - I always thought Teegan (and Keegan) were pretty damned ugly. I also think Camden, Parker and Avery for girls are just plain hideous. For boys I think Ocean is pretty bad - I've seen some people on here recommending it. I think its dreadful.





The worst I saw on YAnswers was probably a woman who wanted to name her child either Apricot Gaia or Whisper secrets. It hurt my soul. She was so determined to name her child one of those godawful names.





I don't know why, but nobody seems to think those as bad as I think they are. I mean. HONESTLY. Whisper Secrets.





EDIT: hundred percent agreement about Neveah - I don't know if it takes the cake for most horrible but it certainly gets the prize for tackiest.
Reply:I agree with you on Teegan. Makes me think of 'kegels', as in the exercise! I really dislike Rowan and Grier (Brooke Shields' daughters), and the name Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards) that a lot of people seem to think is just the coolest thing. Also, one of our babysitter's family members named their son Cash, which just seems really silly to me for a first name.
Reply:I'm not sure I can limit my response to any one name, but anything that is a normal name but is spelled with a bunch of Ks or any variation of an already overdone name such as Brittanni or anything with an apostrophe AND either 2 separate words or a second capital letter such as La Da'rius or something retarded like that.

Reply:Logan. Ew, it sounds like Loogey. Any of the trampy-white trash names: Makayla, Amberlynn...you get the idea. I hate when people make up the spelling too - to be "unique", it isn't unique - it's stupid! Instead of Sarah they spell it Cerrah. And then they have to explain how it is pronounced.

I think that parents should pick a halfway decent name for the helpless fruit of their loins, instead of causing matricide in later years.

Reply:i once saw a baby named toilatery (toy-laaaa-terry) so many people called her toiletry (as in toilet paper). i feel so bad for her when she grows up
