I'm trying to think of baby names that could be easily understood in many different languages....a name that would cross borders and be good for someone who travels often. I've thought of names like Camilla, Luca, Maja...any other ideas? Gracias!
What is a baby name that can be used around the world and other languages understand?
I love Luca and Maja. How about Gabrielle or Isabel? I also love Lorelei and Anneleise and Giada!
Reply:why not just give him or her two names
one that is common in the language of your child's birth and another to fit the bill for a few more countries.
As you saw in the presidential election, some innocent sounding names might prove to be a curse later....so focus the main name being something that will not cause him or her any controversy!
Reply:Nirmala
I just love how that sounds, some people in china considered naming their children @
its pronounciation is almost like ai in chinese it means love, weird...
names that could cross borders would be names of places; Paris, Washington, Sydney, Venice, Sahara etc
