What were the last two names (one male, one female) you deleted from your Baby Name List, and why?

I last threw out Araminta Jane - because I couldn't stand the thought of people calling her Minty.





And Oliver Sebastian - because my husband says it sounds too effeminate and like the hero of a novel. Personally I think it's awesome.

What were the last two names (one male, one female) you deleted from your Baby Name List, and why?
Cool. This is like the exact opposite of the question I've asked "What are the last two names (one per gender) that you've added to your favorites list?". I've actually thought about asking this question, but never got around to it.





Anyways, the last girls name I deleted was Makenna. I don't like it anymore. And the last boys name I deleted was probably Cohen as a middle name for Bennett. Bennett is still there though.

Also funny, because Oliver is the last boy name I threw out, too. I LOVED Oliver for a while, but I just got tired of it. At first, I thought the name was cute, but I only jokingly liked it. I began to seriously like it shortly afterwards. But, I used to play jokes on my BFs and pretended I was pregnant. Twisted, I know! And Oliver was always the name of the 'baby.' I think that was another reason I got tired of it. Plus, I wasn't lovin' the nickname Ollie. I grew to like it somewhat, but still didn't want to chance Oliver being called 'Ollie.'





I sort of threw out Cordelia (nickname Cora) for a girl. I still like it, and it's on my top 5 or so, but I don't know if I could use it anymore. It sounds a bit clunky and stuffy compared to the other names on my list. Plus, I have been hearing Cora pop up more lately. And a part of me finds Cordelia to sound a bit snobby or pretentious sounding.
Reply:Sabrina Marie - I use to love the name Sabrina but now it's just no big deal to me. Marie is my middle name and a family name so I'd still like to use it but haven't decided on what yet.





Zachary Joshua - This is the only name I could think of for boys because I had very few boys names picked out to begin with. I actually loved the name growing up and I still like it..but I'm aiming for either Dominic Jaden or Jonah Isaiah right now.
Reply:I don't have a boy name that I took out of my list, but I have two girl names: Isabella and Gabriella.


Those two were my favourite names a few years ago but they both suddenly got so popular and I got tired of hearing them. They're still beautiful names, but way too common.
Reply:Great question!! I love Oliver but Sebastian is a little fem lol. I threw out Natalie cause of the nickname Nat, i think its awful like Gnat haha, and i threw out Tucker cause my bf said it rhymes with *******...loll!

Tyler David because of a naughty boy named Tyler in my class this year,





So now we have def decided on Benjamin David. I love him already :)
