Babies name?

iam being induced on friday and forever now i have had the name carole marianne picked out but my husband don't like the name but i refuse to change it he thinks im not taking his feelings into consideration.also i have already told everyone the babies name what should i do?do you think my husband has a right to feel the way he does considering he knew what i have wanted to name her since we found out it was a girl.

take what your husband has to say into consideration. maybe the two of you can find a name that you both like. it doesn't matter that you told everyone what the name was going to be. this is YOUR child! Not anyone else's.

Reply:Well, we have no idea if your husband has his own girl's name picked out. Also, has this not been an issue until now? Why hasn't he said something before?





If he has said all along that he doesn't like the name, and you still went around and told everybody that's what her name was going to be, I'd say that you are definitely not taking his feelings into consideration!





I think it would be fine to change a name even if you have already told everyone a different one. Years from now, you'll laugh with your daughter about how she was almost someone else!
