What is the name of the protein in prenatal babies that lengthens DNA so it can replicate unlimited?

I know I saw it once in a video we watched in Biology. They referred to it as the 'nursemaid' protein I think. Can't find it on wikipedia.

In certain cells, the telomerase protein lengthens DNA strands to prevent senescence. Under diseased conditions (ie. cancer), telomerase maybe become hyperactive and lead to cell immortality. I'm not sure what its expression/activity in prenatal babies is but telomerase might be what you're looking for. Good luck!
