How did you pick your babies name?

my husband picked our sons first name Gabriel after the arch angel who fortold the birth of jesus, I picked out his middle name Jared in honor of my father who passed when i was 8 years old. What about you guys?

it just kinds popped in my head lol at the same time as my bff so yea... alexa=D

Collin Michael- Collin off jon and kate plus 8, and because i loved the name


Kaleb Joseph- Kaleb is after a SBS survivor! Joseph after my fiance


Aaden Keith- Aaden is off Jon and Kate plus 8 but i really love the name


Jayson Maxwell- i just love this name :)


Lucas Alexander- I have always wanted to name one of my kids this


Cooper Thomas- Same with this one!
Reply:my mother did our family tree back to the 1100's all three of my childrens names come from the family tree
Reply:First name comes from my brother-in-law who passed away, middle name comes from hubby's best friend who passed away.
Reply:I've always loved angels, hence the name Angela. It means 'Heavenly Messenger.'





Her middle name, Danielle, honors my brother, Daniel (whom she's crazy about), and my husband's cousin, Danyelle, who was to be in our wedding, but was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident just a month before.





Danyelle had natural red hair and so does my daughter. Coincidence? I like to think not....

Reply:We choose Emilee because we liked the meaning, and its a German name which works with our last name that is German. We spelled it different because Emily was on last year's top ten and I wanted to set her apart from the million Emilee's in the world. We choose Trista as the middle name because it sounded good and was different.
Reply:Well, this might sound idiotic, but quite a while before my son was born, I played a lot of Sim2, and the first baby my characters ever had I got the phone book out and did an "open and point" to name my baby sim - it happened to be Everett. I played this sim forever and I just fell in love with the name!





When I got pregnant, my husband told me that I could name our baby if he was a boy, because he didn't have a preferance on boy's name - so I choose Everett!
Reply:Our first son was named Alexander Thurman, to honor my dad's best friend (and my secret best pal when I was a tom-boy tag-along) to he and my dad, and my late father, who died when I was in college...combined with our last name, he sounds like a senator, or at least a very distinguished English author!





Sadly, my dad's friend died in a flood when my Alex was 4; my son, named for the two strongest men I knew, now has neither of these fine gentlemen to guide him.
Reply:Little mans first name (Malcolm) is my fathers name, he passed away 8 years ago and I wanted to honour my dad by naming my son after him, lucky my husband liked the name (lol)





His middle name (James) is the first of my husbands Irish ancestors to be born here in Australia
Reply:My partner picked my son's first name Seth after a motorbike rider (we both love the name anyway) and I picked his middle name Aidan because I wanted an Irish name (I am part irish and have a lot of irish names in my family).
Reply:We named our baby after our grandmothers Isabelle - his and Rose - My grandmother's middle name. I think it has a wonderful ring - Isabelle Rose





Daizy - I love your son's name - they were both on my list - we couldn't decide - good thing she was a girl =)
Reply:Our son's first name is Daniel...our niece suggested it over the phone about 4 hours after he was born..lol His first middle name is Robert, after my father in law, and his second middle name is John after my father.
Reply:We saw Nathaniel in a list online and were hooked. Christian is his father's middle name so that's how he got that one.
Reply:I got my sons first name off an internet website listing babys names. His middle name is his dads last name. His name is Nicholas James. I almost named him Christopher after the actor Chris Tucker but I thought that name was way too common. Anyhow he looks like a Nicholas we call him Nicky or little man.
