I saw this fish at the aquarium place and i don't remember the name of it. This fish had lots of little babies and when she gave a signal all the babies would go into her mouth fast and then they come out later fast.
What is the name of the fish that has her babies hide in her mouth?
There are many fish that mouthbrood. The ones that would be encountered at a pet store make it likely that this was a species of cichlid.
Reply:any mouthbrooding cichlids could do that. Usually African Cichlids like Mbuna do that .
