Ever have a cute nickname for any of your babies unrelated to their name?

for example, my friend's dad used to call him spuds when he was a baby because he thought he looked like a potato and now he's in his twenties and everyone calls him spuds.

or

my bff calls the baby in her tummy beetlegeuse--i called my son my little peanut.

Ever have a cute nickname for any of your babies unrelated to their name?
My husband called our first "Sparky" because when we were choosing names he told me that all he had ever named was his dog. I asked him what he would name a new dog then and he said "Sparky". He called her that for a long time.

He now calls one of our other daughters "Punkin roo" and nobody (not even him) knows why. It just came out one day and he still uses it.
Reply:For all my kids, yes. My 9 year old daughter (emma) is cuddlebear, i don't know why she just likes to cuddle with mommy/daddy ( i'm the dad) or her younger siblings. My 7 year old son ( Drake) is monster, he's a little hyper sometimes. My 8 month old son ( Julian) is JuJu ( i know that kind of is related to his name, but he loves it.) My 23 day old son dylan is moose, that's what my grandfather used to call me when i was young, so yeah.I call him that.
Reply:I don't know how it got started but one day when my daughter was about 3 months old my younger brother started calling her snoopy. and it just stuck I call her Ki Ki but every one else calls her snoopy even my parents call her that it just stuck. my younger sister's nickname is mookie and her name is Jaquana don't know why it's just what we call her.
Reply:i call my niece cassidy Goobs, Gooberbut, or Pumpkin, i dont now how she got goobs but everyone calls her that, i think she responds to that more than she does to cassidy..lol

and i call my nephew ethan budy boy, monkey, or squeaker, for the first couple months of his life he didnt cry or scream, he squeaked it was the *CUTEST* thing ever

goobs is almost 2(nov. 14) and squeaker is 17 months
Reply:we (me and his mommy) call my god-son Amari "Boog", this is because when he was born she would gush and be like "aww look at my little booger butt" lol...and eventually we shortened it to Boog. he will be one on the 10th of nov....

my neice we call Farrah Faucett cuz she is always flipping her hair and acting all snooty lol
Reply:My son has been my little monkey since he was an infant. When he was a few months old, he climbed off of the couch and stood holding the edge on his own, nearly giving me a heart attack. Later, he developed a love for bananas. Every time he saw them, he would start to say, "Oooh, Oooh," like a monkey. So the name just stuck.
Reply:When my grandaughter ,Madison, was a baby one day out of the blue I called her Molly McSkittles. I don't know why, but it was cute and it stuck. She is now 9 and I still call her that. She loves it because it's a special name that only I call her.
Reply:My daughter, we called her monkey because of the way she'd curl up her arms and legs when she was laying on the floor or in her car seat. It was super cute. ....My little monkey.

My son, we called him bear because he had a temper. Still does. ...My sweet little bear!
Reply:we call my daughter marvin cause for the first year of her life she always always hungry "starvin' marin" my oldest son is called Pokey cause everthing he does is in his own time, and my youngest son we call bean cause hes so long and skinny
Reply:My son's name is Kai but we call him Kai Boogie or just plain Boogie. I know it seems like booger but it is really because from the time he was sitting on his own he would dance/or boogie. He is 21 months now and quite a good little booty shaker!
Reply:My husband used to call our son squeek because for the first two days in the hospital Landen never really cried when my husband was around he only made this squeeky noise. He sometimes calls him that now but not very often
Reply:My 11 year-old daughter is Squatty. Believe it or not she LOVES it. She is a little bitty thing for her age , and compared to all of her peers, Squatty just fits.
Reply:We call my son Pickles. When I was pregnant with my son Nicholas, my daughter would talk to my stomach and call him Nicholas Picholas, somewhere along the line he just turned into Pickles
Reply:My name is Laura, but somehow it's become Boo-boo (they say I always had a black eye when I was a baby somehow) or Brown One (I AM brown), etc.
Reply:"Huggie Buggie" is one and the other is "Honey Bunny"
Reply:We called ours Bean before she was born, because that's what she resembled on an early ultrasound.

Now we call her Bear.
