What did you want to name your babies when you were little?

That you think are ridiculous now?

When I was about 12, I wanted 2 little girls, one named Tawny Amber (so hookerish!) and one named Shakespeare Dawn... and I'd call her Shakes!

I thought they were the greatest back then! lol

What did you want to name your babies when you were little?
Haha... i wanted two little girls and i wanted to name them Jordan and Dontrell. Dontrell was the namei was determined i was going to name my little girl when i grew up!
Reply:I wanted to name a girl/boy:

Kevin Alexander

Katelyn Marie

But, when I adopted my son, I kept his first name as the name his birth mother gave him. I selected the middle name. :-)
Reply:It's so funny how our tastes change with maturity, isn't it?

I was all over the place with names:

Zaaria Rhianne

Zaakiyah Rhiannon

Zayna Elyeece

Autumn Jian

Summer Niaj

Winter Laci

Jonathan Elijah

Jonovan Malachi

Timberland Chrisopher

Courtland Mitchell
Reply:i really liked old musicals as a kid so i wanted to name my daughter Dorcasmay, from 7 brides for 7 brothers, i also wanted twin girls to name Gwenevere and Gwendolen. i am so glad I'm over that. i think i picked Dorcasmay at the age of 9 and the others at like 11.
Reply:Well our family tradition is J names so I've always tried to come up with creative alternatives since so many of my cousins and aunts and uncles, etc have used a lot of the traditional names.

I actually picked the name Jenavieve when I was 8 and met a girl named Genevieve. I still love the name and if our next baby is a girl this will be her name.

I also liked Jezebel, which, while pretty, I would NEVER use!
Reply:I thought Crystal was the BEST name when i was 13, now not so much!
Reply:I never picked out boy names and now I have 2 girls, hmmm...

i always wanted savannah, it was my grandma's name. i told my cousin this at least once. She got prego first and named her savannah.
Reply:My best friend, who was a pastor's kid, proudly announced to her dad in the van on the way to school once that she planned to name her first child Lucifer. I think we were about 8. She quickly changed her plans when he told her that was another name for Satan.

When I was little I liked the name Serendipity. But I'm not planning on having any stripper or porn star kids, so...
Reply:I am 13, and I want to name my kids normal things XD

Hannah

Amy

Jennifer (Jen)

Cassie

And Joshua (Josh)

Yup
Reply:Ashley lol... It's not a bad name but it's way too common and boring.
Reply:Mystina.

Seriously. I thought it would be a cool name, and I could call her Mysti for short.

I believe I was about 12 when I had my great idea. :)
Reply:hannah and joshua

Reply:i wanted to name my kids with the most unique names i could think of like Enalice Kiera Arainia.lol how weird huh?
Reply:I remember Tiffany being one of my fave girl names. Just hearing that name now makes me want to gag. I really liked the name Ryan for a boy. I still like it now too.
Reply:I had good taste when I was a child, I used to love the name Natasha which is fairly sensible. As a teen I became too influenced by Buffy the Vampire Slayer and wanted to name my children Faith, Buffy and Mercedes.
Reply:I was a kid in the 80s and the coolest name I could think of was Tina. I didn't have a great imagination.
Reply:Haha I called every babydoll I owned either Ashley or Star. haha Though now i think star is ridiculous! lol. But I still love the name Ashley. My favs now are ashley and juliana for a girl, and julian or adrian for boys...
Reply:When I was 12, I wanted to have five kids. I wanted to name them Emma, Hannah, Maddie, Josh and Zack. I still to this day, love the name Emma, it's one of my girl's names. (I had more kids that what I had wanted when I was 12, LOL).
Reply:Emma after Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls :P
Reply:I always thought I'd name my daughters Clara (because of the play, The Nutcracker) and Lacy.
Reply:Malvina - I think I read it in a book (Nancy Drew?) and became obsessed. Could be worse, but now it reminds me of 'malevolent' or something along those lines. I was about 10 at the time.
